Home Health Nuts and Bolts is unlike any Home Health 101 or 201 class you’ve ever attended. This is a virtual, intensive 2-day program presented by Corridor. The program is designed to reinforce the regulatory and compliance components of home health for all clinicians and individuals in leadership positions in home health organizations. Association Members may attend this course at the discounted rate of $250 per person. Physical course materials and a questionnaire will be sent to registrants in advance, so please register early!

About the Program
This program, developed and taught by Corridor, covers the Home Health Conditions of Participation in detail, including the Medicare benefit from a clinical perspective including eligibility, face to face and recertification. The PDGM payment model will be covered including common successes and failures. Throughout the program, focus is placed on the regulatory requirements surrounding clinical documentation and the importance of accuracy as it relates OASIS, 5-Star Ratings, and HHVBP.

Quality Assessment Performance Improvement will be covered in detail, including how QAPI and corporate compliance work hand in hand. Compliance and all aspects of compliance and risk will be covered, including details on enforcing agencies.

Objectives of Home Health Nuts and Bolts:

About the Presenter
Annette Lee, RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C
Annette is a registered nurse, with a Master’s in Health Care Administration, practicing since 1990, with the majority of her nursing experience in home health. For over a decade she worked with the CMS Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) where she provided review of, and education on home health and hospice documentation. Annette then began providing outreach and provider education regarding Medicare reimbursement issues and effective documentation strategies, assisting providers with ADRs and appeals. Today she marries together her experience in the “real world” and the inside knowledge of Medicare to ensure providers can meet the requirements of CMS, and ensure compliant, efficient operations. She presents nationally on the Conditions of Participation, (COPs), OASIS, PDGM, HIS, LCDs, and documentation and coverage for both the home health and hospice benefits. Annette holds both the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical and the Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis certification.

After registering via Zoom, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a join link to access the webinar, a dial-in number and an access code to listen in via telephone. You will also be sent any pertinent handouts if available.

Registration Fee: The registration fee covers one individual and one continuing education (CE) certificate (if applicable). Multiple site participation from individuals within your agency will require separate registration. For example: if your agency has paid for 1 participating registration but 3 people from your agency would like to attend a receive CE credit, your agency will need to pay a separate registration fee for all 3 participants. In addition, if your agency has sent in 1 registration but 3 people from your agency register through the Zoom link, your agency will be invoiced the registration fee for the additional 2 registrations. The handouts will be emailed to you to the email address you provide. Please feel free to provide an additional email address as a backup.
