Please join us for our next Provider Brown-Bag Roundtable Luncheon! These events serve as an opportunity for members to gather virtually to network and discuss with peers the issues and topics that are keeping you up at night. With COVID changing how we interact, we want to provide a platform for members to reconnect with each other.

We hope you will bring your lunch and join us for our virtual Provider Brown-Bag Roundtable on May 17, 2022 at 12pm PST. Peter Caudle, DPT, CPHQ from Coastal Home Health & Hospice in Brookings, OR will lead discussions on Extracting Value Out of Your Agency's Case Conferences.

• Who should attend: Clinical Managers and Supervisors, Clinicians

• Format: 15-minute presentation followed by participant discussion 

• Why: How much value does your case conference bring to your agency? Do your field clinicians attend your case conferences with high attendance or is it a struggle to have your clinicians present? Are your clinicians engaged in timely, concise, and professional conversations during patient reviews or does patient discussion “creep” occur? Are your case managers owning their leadership responsibilities or do they fail to know “who’s on my case?” Is the time you spend together reinforcing safe and timely discharges or highlighting bobbles in care planning such as planning recertifications around foreseeable assistance needs such as unaddressed med planner issues?

• Case conference presents the opportunity to positively impact key areas of your HH agency: organizational culture, team communications, case manager empowerment, and winning on key quality areas. Running a consistent, tight, professional, and engaging case conference is how agencies can meet organizational goals because it touches on so many key areas of operations. 

• By participating in this Brown Bag Lunch, participants will: 

• 1) understand the performance areas conference impacts and 

• 2) learn and share strategies with others to increase their case conference value and efficiency.

Roundtable facilitator: Peter Caudle, DPT, CPHQ
Peter Caudle, DPT, CPHQ is a passionate educator in the home health community. With over a decade in home health Peter has had progressive experience from field clinician, to case manager, oasis/quality reviewer and clinical manager. Peter has intimate working knowledge of care delivery in the home and of regulatory concerns: oasis, cops, pdgm, hhcahps, qapi, utilization management, and survey readiness. Peter recognizes providing care in the home is a great privilege and he believes every patient deserves the highest quality care and best patient care experience possible. He has earned advanced certification in health care quality, contributed to agency winning Oregon's 2018 Health Insight Home Health Quality Award, and on boarded, educated, and coached countless clinicians on the critical areas of providing high quality home health care. Peter is an engaging educator and assiduous leader. Between managing, writing, and speaking Peter enjoys playing and exploring with his wife and kids in beautiful So. OR.
