Documentation scrutiny by payers and surveyors hits a nerve with many home health providers, who literally bank on keeping documentation compliant within changing requirements, all while keeping clinicians and office staff prepared and engaged.  Telling the story of the patient in the chart while demonstrating skilled, reasonable, and necessary care delivery requires clear guidance and a consistent process to build and maintain a foundation of competence.

Join us as we discuss the overall outlook of review activity and provide foundational training and key stakeholder tips on defensible documentation practice in home health.

Objectives

At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:

• Discuss the current landscape of payer review and audit activity in home health
• Relay best practices in support of compliant documentation within current home health regulatory requirements
• Engage clinicians, learning to leverage the use of their software platform in service of timely, quality documentation.

Cindy Campbell is Director of Operational Consulting at WellSky and a nationally recognized thought-leader and management consultant to the continuum of healthcare at home. Cindy holds a Masters of Health Administration with specialty in Healthcare Informatics, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Due to the expense of using the telephone/web hook-up, Webinar registrations may not be shared between agencies.  Your registration covers the access of only one log in to the webinar. Handouts and related materials will be sent to you shortly before the program to the email address you provide.  Refunds will be issued for those that cancel up to three (3) days prior to the program.  Cancellations made less than 3 business days, or ‘no shows’ will forfeit the registration fee.  Cancellations must be received in writing via e-mail.
